May you be upheld by a belief
unsullied by human motivations:
a pure belief
which is not quick to act
but stands still where the strength is.

Children’s First Day School takes place every week in the lower level at 10:00 AM during the summer.
11:15 AM. Storytelling with Joyful Aging: What were you doing in the 60s and 70s? Tell a story, or come to listen. You can participate in the conference room or online (this is a different Zoom link than other Sunday programming).
12:00 PM. Cemetery Tour (off-site). MFM ANNOUNCEMENTS
Summer schedule starts TODAY. On May 24, Minneapolis Friends Meeting will begin our summer schedule for Sunday programming. This includes a single 10:00 AM meeting for worship each week, alternating between unprogrammed (1st and 3rd Sundays) and semi-programmed (2nd and 4th Sundays). On the 1st Sunday of the month, stay after worship for potluck lunch 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM. On the 2nd Sunday of the month after worship, we hold meeting for business 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM.
The presiding Co-Clerks kindly request if you have items for the Monthly Meeting for Business agenda, that you please get them to Lolly and Jane no later than the first Sunday of the month in order to appear on the agenda for the Monthly Meeting for Business the following Sunday. Thank you!
Shepherd Scholarship application deadline is June 1. This fund supports future Meeting folks with their education costs. Please apply to the scholarship if you or your parents have been active and contributing to Minneapolis Friends Meeting for 5+ years. Contact Allen G with questions.
Want to donate funds to the Meeting? Gifts of all amounts are meaningful and appreciated. Donations are used for operational expenses and to support programming, outreach, and ministry. One-time and recurring contributions are accepted. Click here to donate online or learn about financial giving.
Greeting members and visitors as they enter the building for worship is a wonderful ministry of Hospitality. Welcoming and Outreach needs your support to offer this ministry. To sign up, see Mary S at the rise of meeting.
MFM key recall. If you have Meetinghouse keys that you don’t need — maybe you’ve gone off a committee — please return them to the office. If you’re in the meetinghouse when the office is closed, you can write “keys from [your name]” on an envelope, put your key inside, and slip the envelope under the office door. There are envelopes on the meetinghouse info table.
Being a Zoom Host or a substitute A/V Tech is a great way to support the Meeting’s worship. Interested in being trained for either of these positions, or just finding out more? Contact Bill H.
