Hospitality Needed for QVS Director, November 20-24. Support Minneapolis Friends during the FNVW Holiday Fair. Minneapolis Friends is looking for a few folks to help. If you wish to volunteer for any of these roles, click here for the volunteer schedule. Or, you can contact John K. Needs include:
Bus route changes. On December 6, route 6 will be replaced by the new route 6 and the new METRO E line. Click here for MetroTransit’s webpage about these changes. Click here for a PDF of route 36, which will travel between Edina and Uptown Transit station, stopping near the meetinghouse on Xerxes Avenue. Click here for a PDF of METRO E line, a north/south express bus that makes stops along France Avenue.
Volunteer needed for an errand. There are a few small trash items in the office that shouldn’t go in city trash or recycling cans. If you plan to bring your own household trash to a recycling center this fall or winter, Ariel would appreciate your taking the office’s items along. Repowered, a recycling service in St. Paul, would accept some of the items. Click here for Repowered’s website. Hennepin County recycling center, which has a location in Bloomington and another in Brooklyn Park, would accept other items. Click here for the Hennepin County’s webpage about its drop-off location. Please contact the office to help. This is not time-sensitive.
Paul K, husband to member Wina M, will be talking with Larry Meiller about astronomy this Thursday, November 20, from noon — 1:00 PM on Wisconsin Public Radio’s News station. Click here for a link with all the ways you can listen. If you miss it, you can listen to archived episodes (click here).
Curious about the membership process? Any attender is invited to talk about membership with a member of the Ministry and Counsel Committee or anyone who’s been around a while! It can be an informal one-on-one conversation or a more formal request for a clearness committee.

November 30 (hybrid). Postcard writing with the Peace & Social Concerns Committee will be back Sunday, November 30, at 12:30 PM in the conference room.
