Fundraiser THIS FRIDAY, 6:30-9:30PM – Citizen George, a feature-length film that uses the drama of George Lakey’s life and witness to show the impact of one Quaker’s dedication to peace and social change, will be shown here at the meetinghouse as a fundraiser for Friends for a NonViolent World! The fundraising goal of $5000 will cover trainer costs, scholarships, and an honorarium to George for non-violence and direct action training offered at FNVW’s People Camp this summer. Discussion, snacks, and visiting will follow the film. Come for a warm evening of inspiration, support of FNVW, and being energized by each other!
