10:15 – 11:00 Friends School of MN – Return and Renewal: Rebuilding Community and
Building Connections. Head of School, Joe Mueller, will share efforts to bring the school community back together after a crazy year, as well as efforts to grow the school’s presence in the wider community.

THINGS TO KNOW
Fall Together at Fish Lake on Oct 9th is a GO! Come to this gathering of vaccinated Friends at Fish Lake Regional Park (14900 Bass Lake Rd, Maple Grove) on Sat, Oct 9th, 1-5PM. Enjoy being with each other in this beautiful and inviting park. Children are welcome. No registration needed. Bring your own snack, drink, and lawn/camp chair. Come prepared for an afternoon outdoors. We will have access to the pavilion for restrooms and stashing belongings (jacket, hat, etc.).
SUPPORT THE MEETING’S NEW AUDIO/VIDEO SYSTEM. The meeting has approved installing a new audio-visual system in the meetinghouse to make worship and gatherings accessible to those who cannot attend in person. If you contribute toward this new A/V system before the end of October, your gift will be doubled by a $10,000 matching grant we have received from an anonymous donor! It will also allow existing MFM funds to be used elsewhere. Make checks out to MFM Trustees with A/V system in the memo line.

OPPORTUNITY TO CONNECT WITH MINNEAPOLIS MEETING FRIENDS
Monthly meeting for business is next Sunday at 9:45. On the agenda: hosting the Friends for a NonViolent World Holiday Fair; returning to worship in the meetinghouse; a progress report from the ad hoc Technical Committee. Come be part of the discernment!

Upcoming mid-morning program needs your input! On October 17, Care and Counsel Committee will offer a mid-morning program of Friends telling stories of experiences as kids in First Day School or in other faith communities. Can you tell your story? Contact Nettie or John.
The Writing Group will host an informal writing session this Mon, October 4th, 7-9PM. This open group offers a chance to connect with each other, writing with prompts and sharing what we write. The Right Relationship with Indigenous People group will meet this coming Friday night, October 8th, at 7PM. Open to all interested, this group meets every second Friday night.
Quaker Voluntary Service Fellows have a program day together every-other Fri. Local Friends are asked to provide (vegan) lunch for seven (with a gluten-free option for one) on Oct 15th or 29th. There’s a Northern Yearly Meeting High School Fall Retreat: Living in the Moment, what we as humans are doing to cultivate creativity in the midst of chaos, Fri, Oct 8th – Sun, Oct 10th at Camp Woodbrooke Car-pooling available. Both inside and outdoor time at this beautiful camp, bonding and playing. Kindly Adult Presences needed for part or all of the retreat. Contact Cynthia soon for details. RSVP by Oct 4.
