THINGS TO KNOW
Birthdays, as well as many other celebrations, don’t have to be solo affairs! Happy birthday Betsy (Oct 1,) Kal-El S (Oct 5,) Kathy W (Oct 6,) Mary Jean P (Oct 13,) and Tom W (Oct 28)! Let Friends acknowledge and celebrate you! Send the month and date of your birth, (no year necessary,) to Judith.
Feel led to offer a message or a reading during semi-programmed worship? Ministry and Counsel Committee (M&C) asks you to contact Bill or another member of M&C. M&C is also looking for closers for both the 9AM and 11:15AM worships. Acting as a closer is a ministry of service for the meeting.
DOUBLE YOUR GIFT in support of the new A/V system. The meeting has received an anonymous matching grant of up to $10,000 to fund the new audio-visual system being installed in the meetinghouse to enable reliable hybrid worship. Any amount that you contribute between now and the end of October will be doubled by this matching grant and will allow other MFM funds to be used elsewhere. Make checks out to MFM Trustees with A/V system in the memo line.
