Liz Oppenheimer will share the life experiences that have shaped her practice of using stories from her life to address issues that matter to her family, to her friends, and to the Black, indigenous, Latinx communities and other people of color (BIPOC)

There will be two Get-Cozy-with-Hosting-Zoom sessions offered this coming week. Clerks, EwL convenors, RE Committee members and interested others are encouraged to tune in with Bill Hendricks and Carolyn VandenDolder to practice and confer about hosting on Zoom. Quaker Voluntary Service Fellows have a program day twice a month where they learn about different aspects of Quakerism and living in community. Pendle Hill offers Can Quakers and Others Help Prevent an American Slide Into Dictatorship? a First Monday Lecture with George Lakey, TOMORROW, Oct 5th, 6-8PM (CT) via Zoom. How can Quakers join others in creating a Plan B should election results and procedures be questioned or dismissed? George will bring a lifetime of nonviolent research and action to this question.
