First day school for youth: In order to better match first day school with student and family energy and zoom tolerance, we will have first day school / programming for youth on the first and third Sundays of the month. Today, older youth are encouraged to tune in and hear Paul Erickson and Heidi Flores speak about racial disparity in health care. SAVE THE DATES: Christopher Sammond will be offering an experiential workshop for Minneapolis Friends to deepen our connection to each other and to the Divine. Offered twice: Feb 12, 13 and 21 and Feb 19, 20 and 21. Space limited to 25 per workshop. More details to come; reserve time on your calendar for one of these enriching, community-building opportunities.

Need a bit of relaxation? Jim is offering forty-five minutes of self massage starting at 8PM, after mid-week worship Wed, Nov 11. Jim has been teaching this in community education since 1982 and wants to support your well-being.

Quaker Voluntary Service Fellows have a program day twice a month where they learn about different aspects of Quakerism and living in community. Friends for a NonViolent World (FNVW) is prepared to participate in the pop-up rallies being organized across the Twin Cities on Nov 4th, 4-6PM, to demand all votes are counted and to ensure a fair and peaceful election result. If activation occurs, FNVW will be gathering with others on the pedestrian bridge over I-94 at Concordia and Griggs. Socially distanced, wear masks for safety. The Choose Democracy Action Center lists four concrete things you can do in the days ahead of the election to support democracy.
