LAST CHANCE TO fill out a survey (attached) and email to Doug ASAP.
Monthly Meeting agreed to participate in the NorthPoint food and fund drive . This year and especially at this time, there is a great need. Please consider a food or money donation. Ten dollars allows the purchase of enough food for 25 meals! Since we have been unable to collect food, Friends may wish to donate by mail: NorthPoint Food Shelf, 1256 Penn Ave. N. – Suite 5300, Minneapolis, MN. 55411; or online at: northpointhealth.org/donate.
The Writing Group is connecting though writing and sharing via group emails. No writing talent needed — just a desire to connect with others in the meeting. Conversation starters/writing prompts will be sent out weekly. Anyone can respond by writing and sharing with the group. Open to all — adults, children and teens. If you’re interested, write to Jane to be added to the email list. Maintain community, form new connections, and have some fun!

Quaker healer and teacher John Calvi will be featured TOMORROW night in a Pendle Hill talk: “Love in a Time of Coronavirus” Mon, April 6th, 6:30 – 8PM (CT) What does Love asks of us in this time of pandemic? As one who early on stepped out in faith to be of service to people with AIDS, John learned the disciplines of being graceful in crisis, and avoiding the pain and confusion of burnout. John’s wisdom about love and faith in a time of a health crisis with many unknowns may be of help to us all. Two queries to consider: Do we seek our own best calm, wisdom, and knowledge to serve ourselves and others during crisis? What tradition or experience do we draw on to return to our best selves during troubles and service? Register here to receive the Zoom hyperlink via email.
