Bulletin: March 22, 2020
In compliance with the MN Department of Health guidance and for the health and safety of MFM members and the larger community, Minneapolis Friends Meeting is suspending any gathering at the meetinghouse.
This coming Sunday, two worships will be hosted on Zoom, a video / audio conferencing application, free to participants. Worship will remain at 9AM and 11:15AM. Friends are invited to linger online with a cup of coffee and visit with one another between the close of early worship at 10AM and the start of second worship at 11:15.
If you wish to join worship and have not been sent the link, email office(Replace this parenthesis with the @ sign)minneapolisfriends.org by 5PM Saturday.
Access a tutorial on how to join a meeting: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362193-Joining-a-Meeting?flash_digest=c7410eb2181d96e6cf2b72880064e8ad4d6fa011
Friends will need to download the Zoom app before worship begins. The worship link above will take you to Zoom where you will be prompted to download the app. You will automatically get instructions for installing Zoom on your devise.
The host will be online this Saturday, March 21st, from 1-3PM so you may practice logging in. Use the same worship link to practice as you will for worship on Sunday. On Sunday morning, March 22nd, the meeting will be open at 8:30 so you can sign in before worship begins.
Tip for participating:
~ During worship, please mute yourself unless you are inspired to speak. This will help protect worship from errant phones ringing, dogs barking, and other-room noise. We may need to help each other remember.
~ Be prepared to be patient should your meditation be interrupted by someone forgetting to mute.
~ And be prepared to have your vocal ministry go unheard by any, save yourself and the universe, if you forget to UNmute before speaking.
First day school for youth (and interested others) will have a google hangout starting at 12:15. If you have not received an invitation and want one, email office(Replace this parenthesis with the @ sign)minneapolis.org before 5PM Saturday.
