Bulletin: October 20, 2019
“FALL TOGETHER” IS NEXT SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26!
You will be warmly welcomed anytime between 10am and 9pm.
Come for fun and refreshment at the lovely and convenient Fish Lake Park in Maple Grove. Check your email for the handy on-line brochure containing all the important details, (sent October 3 or available online here .) We’re each bringing our own food and dishes, so be sure to read the brochure for all you need to know.
Bring something fun to do, prepare a variety show act, or just be in the mood to enjoy one another’s company. No registration this year! We’re trying out an easier-to-plan, more laid-back event. Carpool sign-up is in the hall.
ABOUT FOOD: There is a fridge and microwave, but no stove. For the pot luck, folks can bring cold things or slow cookers (no soup please), but needn’t get stressed out about it. A few apples, some sliced tomatoes, a carton of cottage cheese, a bag of baby carrots, some beans & tortillas—something easy that won’t stop you from coming if you don’t have time to put an entrée in a pot. Leave that for the people who have time, and who have a slow cooker. Also, some glass dishes could be warmed up in the microwave, if necessary, but a hearty salad is another good option. Working together to make the meal happen is part of the pleasure in community : )
Any questions? Call Wina. Please come!
For first day school folks – go to Fall Together, then head to the meetinghouse for a sleepover! Don’t miss it!
