MEETING SCHEDULE AND PROGRAM
TODAY
10:00 – 11:00 AM meeting for worship (unprogrammed): care of meeting, Tom Hoey and Lolly Lijewski; Andy Showalter (mic)
You are welcome at the potluck following worship this morning! Like many things at meeting, potlucks are do-it-yourself affairs. Look for ways to help: clearing dishes, washing, drying or putting them away; washing tables; replenishing water pitchers; putting away chairs. Many hands make light work!
At the rise of worship today, there will be a table where you can support the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons, approved by the United Nations on July 7, 2017. The U.S. strongly opposes the treaty. Sign postcards to both Senators Klobuchar and Franken urging them to speak out publicly in favor of the Treaty. A petition will also be available, calling on ALL members of the MN Congressional Delegation to support the Treaty. Free Postage on every postcard signed today. Activity coordinated by WAMM and the Whites in conjunction with the Peace and Social Concerns Committee.
There will be a memorial service for Marcia Hanson, wife of Ranae’s brother, Jeff, here today, Sept. 3rd at 4 pm. Friends are welcome.
UPCOMING MEETING EVENTS
The school year schedule with two meetings for worship will begin September 17.
