At the rise of the 11:15 Meeting, would all those who are able, please stack all but twenty-two of the chairs at the back of the meetingroom, by the piano, in preparation for the Holiday Sale? Chairs can be stacked about 10 high.
Please sign up for your Jan. 2 or Jan. 3 photo session at the table outside the south meetingroom doors.
There will be a memorial service here for Bill Savage, occasional attender of MFM for decades and cousin to Jane Furnas, tonight, 6:00 PM. You are welcome to come regardless of whether you knew Bill.
UPCOMING MEETING EVENTS
Next week at 10:15: Mary Leikvold has done art in many media. She teaches printmaking at Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Mary will tell us something of the relationship between her art and her spiritual journey. Don’t miss it!
Next week, all are welcome to the monthly Sunday potluck lunch. To regulars, please bring plenty of food so there will be ample to accommodate visitors and those at the end of the line. Also, (new!) please prominently label your pot-luck item/s “VEGAN,” “ VEGETARIAN,” or “MEAT” and list ingredients and/or your name so those with allergies, salt restrictions, etc., can participate.
Monthly Meeting approved creating a new photo directory and our photo sessions are fast-approaching:
Fri., Jan 2nd, 1-8:00 and Sat, Jan 3rd, 10-4:00.
Sign up now, mark your calendar, and alert family members who might be in town to come in for a family photo!
We need help between now and January – entering sign-ups into the computer, hosting sessions, setting up coffee or bringing treats! Call or email the office to volunteer or for details.
First Day School students and parents were busy volunteering at Feed My Starving Children yesterday. The class is deciding how to raise money to fund this organization’s work. Watch for more information to follow.

The Quaker reading group, created in memory of George and Elizabeth Watson, has chosen to read and discuss the October 2014 issue of Friends Journal, “Experiences of Friends of Color”. Some of the articles are available online: friendsjournal.org See Pat Jones to borrow a paper copy. The next meeting will be Wed evening, December 17th.
Offering boxes are located on small tables near the meetingroom doors. Please give as you are able. The Meeting’s budget is $112,875. Copies are on the table….Thank you, Friends, for your generous support of the Meeting in all manner of ways.
OFFICE HOURS
Pat Jones will be in the office Wednesday from 3:00-5:00 and other times Wed, Thurs, Fri. and Sat.
Carolyn VandenDolder, the Administrative Assistant, will be in Fri. only this week. Bulletin deadline, noon Thur. Bulletin items can be phoned in to the office, emailed or written and put in the bulletin file of the blue box.

Lunch Bunch is this Wed, Dec 3. RSVP to Louise by Tues, Dec. 2nd (952-948-2672). And be aware there has been a price increase since the last meeting! If you are available in the middle of the day, consider coming! It’s a great opportunity to deepen relationships with and bring news to those not able to come to worship every Sunday.
Friends for a NonViolent World Holiday Fair will be here this Fri, Dec 5th, 1-9 & Sat, Dec 6th, 10-4!

COMMUNITY EVENTS
The Iraq-American Reconciliation Project & Macalester Helping Open Peaceful Exchange will show a series of short documentaries directed by new MN Iraqis this Tue, Dec 2nd, 7 p.m. Through the films, these new residents introduce themselves to their communities here in MN, telling their stories and giving us an opportunity to learn something about life in Iraq since 2003, and what it is like to arrive in the Twin Cities as a newcomer. Campus Center, Macalester College. Free and open to the public. Light refreshments served during conversation with filmmakers after the screening.
A West Broadway Pop-Up Boutique will be open Fri., Dec.12th 4-8 pm and Sat., Dec.13th 10-6, 1101 West Broadway, Mpls.
